Once the oil is hot, fry the salmon skin down for 1 to 2 minutes. Fry one site only.

Notes
I suggest baking salmon at 190°C (370°F) for 10 to 15 minutes, keeping the thickness of the fish in mind. To check if the fish is ready, use a fork to gently push down on the top of the fish. If it flakes easily, it is ready.If you have frozen salmon at home, take it out of the freezer the night before and allow it to defrost naturally in the fridge overnight. However, if you forget to do so, you can also place the salmon in a sealed plastic bag in warm (not hot) water. It will take about half an hour for the fish to thaw.
