Easy Bow Tie Pasta Salad Recipe (With Crispy Pancetta)
This delicious creamy bow-tie pasta recipe comes together in just 20 minutes. Bursting with Meditteranean flavors thanks to crispy pancetta, sun-dried tomatoes, and parmesan cheese. This summer pasta dish makes a great family meal. Hope you enjoy it!

Ingredients
- 380 grams bow-tie pasta
- 120 grams pancetta approximately 6 slices
- 100 grams sun-dried tomatoes drained and cut into strips
- 1 shalot finely diced
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 250 grams cherry tomatoes halved
- 1/4 cup crème fraîche
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese shaved
- salt and black pepper to season
Instructions
MAKE SURE ALL INGREDIENTS ARE READY TO GO BEFORE YOU SATRT
- Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
- In a frying pan, cook pancetta slices over medium heat until crispy. Drain on a paper towel. Fry in batches if needed.
- In the same pan, add a little olive oil and sauté shallots until softened, then add garlic for another minute.
- Add sun-dried tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, and crème fraîche. Mix and simmer until tomatoes soften on very low heat.
- Add cooked pasta, pancetta, basil, Parmesan, and reserved pasta water as needed. Season with salt and pepper, then serve.

- Have all ingredients ready before starting.
- Once you’ve added crème fraîche to the pan, keep the stove on very low heat to prevent separation.
- Reserve some crispy pancetta and shaved Parmesan to sprinkle on top for a beautiful presentation.
- Use gluten-free pasta to make this pasta salad gluten-free.
