This delicious Burger Bowl (aka Big Mac Salad) is a healthier, customizable spin on classic burgers. 800grammlean beef minceapproximately 28 ounces or as much you need for 4 people.
1tablespoonolive oil
8large lettuce leaves of your choice
1cuphalved cherry tomatoes
2pickled cucumbers sliced
1ripe avocado, sliced
1/2cupgrated cheddar cheese
Burger Spice Blend
1teaspoonsweet paprika
1/2teaspoonsmoked sweet paprika
1/2teaspoongarlic powder
1/2teaspoonsea salt
1/4teaspoononion powder
1/4teaspoonground black pepper
Instructions
Cook the Beef:
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with a splash of olive oil. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned throughout - season with salt and pepper. Drain any excess grease.
Whisk Up the Sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, pickle juice, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Assemble the Bowls:
Divide lettuce between bowls. Top with cooked beef, cherry tomatoes, red onion, avocado, cheddar cheese, and pickles.
