👩🍳 How to Cook Chicken Skewers in the Oven
Step 1: In a large bowl, combine olive oil, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, mixing well to ensure they are evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes, or overnight.

💡 Pro Tip: If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 20 minutes to prevent burning.

Absolutely! Chicken thighs will work very well too. Just adjust the baking time as they may need an extra 2-3 minutes.
Yes! Preheat your grill to medium-high heat and cook the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is fully cooked.
Our family loves skewers (or kebabs, as they’re also called). They’re fun to eat, easy to make, and always a crowd-pleaser. My marinated oven-baked chicken skewers are already a readers’ favorite, but since they’re made with chicken thighs—and my oldest prefers chicken breast—I knew I had to switch things up. So, I experimented with a chicken breast version, and I’m happy to report: huge hit! Now, this Bang Bang Chicken Skewers recipe is on repeat in my weekly meal plan, and I have a feeling it will be in yours, too!
